Centennial Celebration Quilt Exhibition
“100 Years – 100 Quilts”
February 18, 2012 to December 2012

The Exhibition, presented through a partnership of the Arizona Quilters Hall of Fame/Arizona Centennial Quilt Project and the Arizona Historical Society/Arizona History Museum, will be held from February 18 to December 31, 2012 at the prestigious Arizona History Museum located in Tucson, AZ! Each of the 100 quilts accepted into this non-juried show is an original design expressing the entrant’s vision of Arizona’s history, people, and/or places.

Centennial Commemorative Quilt

The Arizona Centennial Commemorative quilt has been donated to the Arizona Historical Society where it will become part of their permanent collection. This masterpiece has attracted an amazing amount of interest and will be displayed at the following locations during the centennial year.

  • Summer 2012 - Arizona Historical Society - Flagstaff (Tentative plan)
  • September 2012 - Arizona Historical Society - Tucson for the Arizona Quilters Hall of Fame Luncheon
  • November 8 – 12, 2012 - Rim Country Quilt Show, the Rim Country Round Up, Mazatzal Casino, Payson, 10:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. (depending on day).
